Draya Michele gained recognition through her appearance on the VH1 reality show Basketball Wives LA, which aired from 2011 to 2016. Since then, she has ventured into fashion design, creating her swimwear line Mint Swim in 2011 and launching Beige and Coco in 2016. She is also an actress, having starred in the 2016 film The Perfect Match opposite Terrence Jenkins, Lauren London, Brandy, and French Montana.
The Relationship Between Draya Michele and Tyrod Taylor
Draya Michele and Tyrod Taylor began dating in 2020 while Taylor was playing for the Los Angeles Chargers. Despite keeping their relationship mostly private, Michele publicly congratulated Taylor on his contract signing with the Giants in 2022. The couple has been spotted together at various events, such as the ESPY Awards and the Met Gala.
However, there have been rumors of an on-again, off-again nature to their relationship. In August 2023, speculation built that Michele had split from Taylor and was now seeing past NBA top overall pick Jalen Green of the Houston Rockets. Prior to her relationship with Tyrod Taylor, Draya Michele was linked to R&B superstar Chris Brown. Their relationship gained attention following Brown’s split with Rihanna. However, their relationship only lasted for nine months.

Tyrod Taylor’s NFL Career
Tyrod Taylor entered the NFL in 2011 as a sixth-round draft pick by the Baltimore Ravens. He spent four seasons as a backup to Joe Flacco before signing with the Buffalo Bills in 2015. He led the Bills to their first playoff appearance in 18 years in 2017 but was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2018.
He lost his starting job to Baker Mayfield after suffering a concussion and was traded again to the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019. He started the first game of the 2020 season but missed the rest of the year due to a punctured lung caused by a team doctor’s injection.
He signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans in 2021 but was injured again in Week 2 and replaced by rookie Davis Mills. He became a free agent in 2022 and signed a two-year contract with the New York Giants.
He is expected to start for the Giants on Sunday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 of the 2023 season.
